Command-D on Mac

A tiny menu bar app. Copy anything, press ⌘D, see “Stored ✓”.

Apple Silicon (M1 and later) · macOS 13 or newer

2 · Open it

Unzip, and drag Command-D.appto Applications. This early build isn’t notarized by Apple yet, so the first launch takes one extra step:

  1. Double-click the app. macOS refuses; close the dialog.
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to Command-D.
  3. The ⌘D icon appears in your menu bar. Its menu has Start at login.

Terminal instead: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Command-D.app

3 · Use it

Copy a link, text or image (⌘C), then press ⌘D. The menu bar icon shows your latest saves; Open my list opens them in your browser, already linked to the same list.

4 · Same list on your phone

Set up iPhone or Android, then link them: in your list, tap Devices & links → Show code & QRand scan the QR code with your phone's camera.
